Only tried the fish and chips and they were excellent. Straight out of the fryer, into the box and then into my big mouth! The curry sauce made all the difference so make sure you get a tub.

I recently visited a fish and chip shop and had a great experience. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a really comfortable place to enjoy a meal. The customer service was amazing, especially Kemal, who was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The food was outstanding crispy, golden fish, fresh and well-cooked chips, and great overall quality. Everything was served hot and fresh with excellent service. I’ll definitely be back!

Best chips in the area. Staff & owner/boss is very friendly and funny. There’s a guy with a beard who is always friendly and remembers you too. Highly recommend eating/ordering there.

We phoned up to order our takeaway, always receive a friendly welcome at The Boathouse. Scampi, cod and two chicken shish with a portion of chips for just over £31. Tasty food and good value.

The fish and chips were excellent. That's all I want when I go to a fish and chip shop, so thats all that really matters for me. I don't know why other reviews have been poor, the fish was fresh and delicious and the batter was crispy. The chips were excellent too, crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only issue is the shop itself is a bit shabby. I was taking my order to eat on the beach, so this didn't really matter to me, but I probably wouldn't eat in.
